A conductor might be a fine musician, but never will he conduct and play at the same time; as the bassoonist won’t play the trumpeter’s score. Keep an eye on those who get off track, install a process that enables each tasks to be managed by the right people.

A conductor stands on a platform for all to see him. He isn’t afraid of moving his arms in the air and looking funny. He imposes the rhythm that the orchestra follows. He gives the starting queue, (not that he doesn’t trust his musicians), because his goal is to perform perfectly.
As an entrepreneur, you shouldn’t be afraid to act like a conductor. Your words and actions will always be scrutinized and analyzed. Some will try finding contradiction in your words, hidden meanings; this is why it is important to communicate clearly constantly.
