Tot 23 februari 2006 was Ladbrokes eigenaar van een toonaangevend vastgoedbedrijf, waaronder de vestiging van Hilton Hotels buiten de Verenigde Staten. Tot 2006 stond het bedrijf bekend als Hilton Group plc.

Het is het grootste gokbedrijf in Groot-Brittannië, zo niet in de wereld. Ladbrokes heeft meer dan 2.200 wedkantoren verspreid over Groot-Brittannië, Ierland en België. Het bezit ook verschillende websites voor online weddenschappen, sport, online poker en online casinosites.
