Michèle Didden.
She joined the Didden family business in the mid-1980s (4th generation) and had been co-managing it since 1996. Since 2006, Michèle Didden has been the sole manager and shareholder of the company, which manufactures and exports a wide range of sauces and confits. Trained as an optometrist optician, she is the mother of 2 grown children. For this woman passionate about decoration and cooking, nothing is more precious than the moments spent with the (extended) family.
It was in 1925 that Jean-François Didden undertook to make mustard according to his ancestral recipe which appealed so much to the intimate guests of the family. He then founded Maison Didden and went door to door on horseback with his two sons, François and Théodore, to share this passion for flavours.
Colette Sirre.
Sirre is probably the biggest artisanal bakery in Brussels. It employs about thirty workers who work in a workshop that runs almost 24 hours a day! Sirre is first and foremost a family story, started in 1935 and continued today by Colette Sirre, granddaughter of the founder. The brand brings back childhood tastes through a wide range, made up of quality raw materials. Let's mention the sugar or cherry tart, the macaron rice tart, the old-fashioned baguette, the butter couque, the cracker and various homemade ice creams.
