What was the deciding factor?
We turned to the coworking solution for the flexibility it offers. Our choice quickly turned to Silversquare: we share the same values! Environmental commitment is also a key value at EXKI since our creation.
Does this office change correspond to a way of rethinking EXKI globally?
More than ever, it is necessary to be adaptable, and coworking flexibility goes in this direction. Our employees want to work partially from home. We have therefore opted for a certain number of workstations in order to maintain this rotation but also to promote sharing and community, which are important values for us.
Silversquare coworking spaces are often located next to EXKI restaurants. This will also make life easier for our employees in the field. We will clearly encourage them to be mobile between the different coworking spaces.
Has EXKI adapted its strategy in recent years?
Yes, and this also goes in the direction of flexibility and proximity. After the Covid-related confinement, we realized that our customers were no longer in the same places as before and that we really needed to get closer to them. We have thus developed smart fridges in companies that offer EXKi products (we will soon install them at Silversquare Stephanie!). We have also developed the concept of EXKI at work: a solution for companies that want to offer an alternative catering option to their employees. Employees order on the app and the menus are delivered directly to their workspace. EXKi also offers a catering solution by providing platters to share among colleagues or for work meetings.
How do you put your environmental values into practice?
Sustainability has always been at the center of our values. Specifically, we are attentive to our ecological footprint, which we want to keep low. We mostly use recycled elements for decoration, we have installed solar panels in our kitchen workshop, and work with seasonal products. For packaging, for example, we now use transparent paper for our packaging instead of plastic. It looks very similar, but it's paper. In recent years, EXKi has thus reduced its plastic consumption by 80%!
How do you see the future?
We think that the move to coworking enhances the attractiveness of our company: it's younger, in tune with the times, and could even promote our recruitment. We admit... we fell for the nap rooms! We also really like the truly different atmospheres that have been created in the different coworking spaces.
Like Silversquare, we are in hospitality and we obviously believe in the power of conviviality. Gathering around a drink makes work and the work atmosphere more fun. As restaurateurs, we won't tell you otherwise...
